RBM Browser DLP is a browser extension designed to work with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application. Its purpose is to help organizations apply administrator-configured file-upload restrictions to selected websites.

Data Processing
RBM Browser DLP retrieves DLP policy information from the RBM Cyber Security application running locally on the user's computer. The extension uses this policy to determine whether file uploads should be permitted or blocked on configured websites.

Local Communication
The extension communicates with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application through a local service at 127.0.0.1. This communication is used for policy synchronization and extension connection-status verification.

Browsing and File Content
RBM Browser DLP is not designed to transmit users' browsing history, passwords, financial information, personal communications, or the contents of files being uploaded to CSTRBM TECH PRIVATE LIMITED. When a website is configured as “No Upload,” the extension attempts to prevent file-upload actions in the browser.

Data Sale and Advertising
CSTRBM TECH PRIVATE LIMITED does not sell user data collected through RBM Browser DLP and does not use the extension for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.

Permissions
The extension requires access to websites so that it can enforce administrator-configured DLP restrictions. It also requires access to the local RBM Cyber Security service for policy synchronization and connection verification.

Security
The extension is designed to process its DLP configuration locally in conjunction with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application.
